DANA is proud to offer its sophisticated clients yet another financial instrument to maximize investment performance: trading options. DANA’s Omnitrader+ trading platform gives investors access to a 6 month trading period to choose from the world’s most tradable instruments. Identifying options premiums in a particular month compared with other premiums from near or farther months is simple on this platform, thus making it easier to build strategies such as calendar spread trading.
Omnitrader+ also incorporates options Greeks so that traders can further optimize a hedging strategy with a particular product in the futures or spot market or build a speculative option spread strategy. Additionally, clients may contact DANA’s dealing desk and request specialized information regarding options such as market implied volatility or any other information.
Trading options is a unique and widely used way for sophisticated investors to minimize risk and maximize wealth growth consistently, by gaining the right but not the obligation to buy or sell a specific commodity at a specified price within a specified time frame, purchased at a premium. Options premiums are defined by the Black & Scholes generalized formulas which take into consideration a number of factors such as market volatility, the underlying commodity price change in time and the probability of the price to reach a certain level like the strike price, etc.
It should be noted that options trading with DANA is purely speculative and traders may not exercise the right to take or give delivery of the underlying commodity. However, clients will be assigned a spot position once their option has expired in the money. At which point, clients may continue trading their newly acquired spot position or close at profit.
